Part-time Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching and ready to inspire young learners? A well-regarded primary school in Stockport is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Year 3 Teacher to provide long-term cover. The successful candidate will teach a mixed-ability Year 3 class, supported by a skilled Teaching Assistant who can be deployed as needed to help raise outcomes for every pupil. The class includes a small number of children on the SEND register, and the school provides excellent resources to support inclusion and engagement.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, with Year 3 experience being an advantage (though not essential).

  • Can apply effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Works well as part of a team, supporting both colleagues and classroom assistants.

  • Adapts lessons to suit different learning styles including visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic approaches.

  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.

  • Is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that allow every child to reach their potential.
