Drafting and preparing Bills of Costs for Clinical Negligence matters.

Preparing comprehensive Replies to Points of Dispute.

Negotiating costs settlements with opposing parties.

Managing costs budgeting, including creation and updating of budgets.

Issuing and overseeing costs proceedings.

Advocacy where required (desirable but not mandatory).

Offering guidance and support to fee-earners on all costs-related issues.
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in Clinical Negligence costs work, including negotiations and Points of Dispute.

Ability to handle a diverse caseload independently.

Exceptional written communication and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of costs budgeting and assessment procedures.

Comfortable liaising with solicitors, counsel, and clients.

Proficiency with case management systems and digital billing platforms.

Collaborative team player with enthusiasm to contribute to the broader success of the firm.
